Shroud of the Avatar – A Shroud of Confusion

Richard Garriott’s Shroud of the Avatar recently saw the final character wipe and the rush for lot claims was conducted. While the game is still in development, we decided this to be the right time for a first review – after all you have to purchase the game if you want to play and progression is now permanent on the servers. Since our first impression in the previous article we tried to look beneath the surface of this complex, yet unpolished sandbox.

Ricky Burns to make first defence against unbeaten Kiryl Relikh

WBA light welterweight champion Ricky Burns (40-5-1, 14 KOs) will make the first defence of his title against mandatory challenger Kiryl Relikh (21-0, 19 KOs) on October 7 at The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.
Burns, 33, became Scotland’s first three-weight world champion when he won the vacant title with a eight-round stoppage over Italy’s Michele di Rocco at the same venue last May.

Black Desert Online – Sailing the Margorian Seas – Gamescom Preview

Naval themes seemed to be out in force at Gamescom. If it wasn’t spaceships in the void, it was more down to earth ships cutting through the high seas. Black Desert Online was very much included in this and is working towards their Margoria expansion. Kakao Games, formerly Daum Games, along with Pearl Abyss have invited us to try our hands at sailing the Margorian seas and awakening new power in your characters.

Destiny of Ancient Kingdoms, based on Norse mythology, is ready to be unleashed on Steam beginning August 30th. Destiny of Ancient Kingdoms is developed and published by Utopia Dream Entertainment Alliance from South Africa. The game will be free to play with an in-game marketplace.
