PND Mustard Breaks Down Blue Beetle in This Injustice 2 Hands-On Video

During this year’s Gamescom, notable Mortal Kombat player and caster PND Mustard was able to get some lengthy hands-on time with one of Injustice 2’s new characters: Blue Beetle. After playing around with his plethora of gadgets and his unique stance switching, Mustard has compiled a video giving his impressions of the insectoid fighter. Do note that the build available at Gamescom is a very early one; properties of moves are likely to change by the full release, so take nothing as gospel just yet.

By the sounds of it, Blue Beetle is shaping up to be quite the contender in Injustice 2, thanks to his aerial and ground mobility, powerful normal strings and decent range. Only time will tell if Blue Beetle is actually good but these initial impressions look promising for this new addition to the roster.

McDareth Presents the Definitive Stance Armor Guide for Pokkén Tournament’s Blaziken

Pokkén Tournament’s Counter Attack Dash Canceling (CADC) mechanic–obviously inspired by Street Fighter IV’s FADC–is not the only way to absorb blows in-game. There’s a number of characters whose high and low stances allow them to absorb particular types of attacks. This adds a very unique flavor to Pokkén, increases match-up depth, and is ridiculously flashy; that last part makes a lot of sense, because “ridiculously flashy” is an accurate description of the Pokémon that takes Stance Armor the furthest. Enter: Blaziken.

In this fantastically narrated video, McDareth demonstrates Stance Armor in theory and in practice. Everything you could possibly need to know about this unique system is laid out here, including how Blaziken interacts with supports, and why he would prefer Stance Armor over CADC.
