LI Joe Faces Off Against a Wave of Japanese Online Warriors in This CFN Match Compilation

With LI Joe currently in Japan for Tokyo Games Show, it was only natural he was going to hit the stick sooner or later to get some training ahead of the competition at the trade show. Using a select Japanese CFN profile, LI Joe took on challenges from all comers, hoping to train against some of Japan’s best online players before the main event.

Seeing as these matches were all online, everyone’s favorite online match-gatherer XusesGB has collected most of the matches from this online series and put them together in a single video. Watch Joe go up against some of Japan’s top ranked online warriors, with a variety of different characters.

Hitbox TV Announces Hitbox Olympus, a Super Smash Bros. Event Held in Atlantic City from October 28-30th

Announcing their first ever Smash event, Hitbox TV have revealed the Hitbox Olympus, a three-day tournament held at the Tropicana Casino and Resort in Atlantic City. This tournament boasts events for Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Project M, with each singles event having a guaranteed pot bonus of $1,000. Doubles will also have $500 added to their pots, so there is an extra $4,500 for the taking on top of the money generated from entrants.

Sign ups are now available over on Matcherino, with each game costing $10 to enter. Entrants to Olympus also get free entry to Gameacon, a general gaming convention being held at the Tropicana on the same weekend. If you’ve bustered out of the tournament and have spent all your extra cash on the roulette wheel or money matches, you can head over the convention to play some new indie games and join in on the Halloween party.

With Hitbox acting as the home for those wanting to stream Project M, expect all the best PM players coming to compete. Looking at the sign up list already, players like Junebug, Professor Pro and Lunchables have already signed up for Project M and with more to come in the future, this is a PM tournament you’ll not want to miss.

Ryan Hart Names His Top 15 Street Fighter V Players In Europe

Ryan Hart is arguably Europe’s most recognizable Street Fighter player. The “Prodigal Son” has multiple championships in multiple Street Fighter games and more than a few Guinness World Records to his name. As such, anything he says carries some weight within the community.

Recently, Hart has gone on Twitter with his list of who he thinks are the top 15 Street Fighter V players in Europe (including the Middle East). The list includes some familiar names such as Wilfried “Will2Pac” Jean-Baptiste, Arman “Phenom” Hanjani, Adel “BigBird” Anouche, and of course Evo 2014 champion Olivier “Luffy” Hay.

Quite surprising however is the fact that Hart has not included himself in his own list. This is an interesting omission considering that Hart is currently ranked #6 in on the European Capcom Pro Tour leaderboard–higher than a few of the names on his own list. According to Hart, this is because he doesn’t want to look “big headed” by including his name on his list. That said, more than a few other top players, including the global #2 ranked EG|Justin Wong have stated that he should belong on his own list.

Every issue of UDON Comics’ Street Fighter Unlimited has featured a cover variant by Jeffrey “Chamba” Cruz: the twelve Ultra Jam “Puzzle” covers form a massive single image, and with Street Fighter Unlimited #12 now available for pre-order, that image is now complete!

Dedicated UDON Comics fans have been building this collection piece-by-piece, issue-by-issue since Street Fighter Unlimited’s launch, but now the rest of us can see this spectacular tribute to Street Fighter’s massive cast of characters for ourselves:
