Is Rosalina the Best Character in Super Smash Bros. 4 for Wii U? ZeRo Explains

Team SoloMid’s ZeRo has been busy compiling his Super Smash Bros. for Wii U tier list after the 1.1.6 patch; his finished list crowns Rosalina as the top tier character, and he has made another video to explain his reasoning.

While the metagame has been shifting around a bit lately, according to ZeRo, it currently favors defensive play, and that’s favorable to Rosalina. She can nullify a lot of projectiles with Luma and her Gravitational Pull down-B, forcing the opponent to approach. She also has good pokes to keep the opponent at bay. Furthermore, her float introduces lots of advanced techniques that players keep finding. This also makes her neutral safer, since she isn’t as easy to combo as many other characters.

ZeRo also talks about her offensive options and close-quarter combat, and whether Meta Knight is an answer to her.

Mai Natsume Faces Es in This BlazBlue: Central Fiction Gameplay Clip

The robust cast of the upcoming BlazBlue: Central Fiction is rounded out by two console-exclusive characters, Mai Natsume and Es. Recently announced, Mai wields a spear which she uses for dynamic jump-ins, and a chargeable projectile that she can steer.

While information is still scarce about her, there’s captured footage of Mai’s fighting Es from an ArcLive stream. The clip shows a lot of her attacks and gameplay as well as her new stage and music.

While we’ll have to wait until the October 6th Japanese console release to properly play either of them, anyone who preordered BlazBlue: Central Fiction now has access to a playable demo. There is no word yet whether that will be the case for US or European preorders.
