Most fans of Street Fighter are familiar with Shadaloo’s group of 12 assassins known as the Dolls, due to them having a large role in Street Fighter V’s Cinematic Story Mode, in addition to Juni, Juli and Decapre being playable in past titles. We even covered their CFN Profiles back in June. However, it’s a little-known fact that there are actually a group of Apprentice Dolls within Shadaloo, who are ranked below the main group we’ve come to know, with the aspirations of someday rising through the ranks to join them. There are three Classes of Apprentice Dolls as follows:

Basic Information:

Name: Junior Dolls
Equipment: Night-Vision goggles, Psycho Power amplifying devices
Duties: Serving each of the Four Heavenly Kings, Infiltration, Base Security

Name: Intermediate Dolls
Equipment: Chest rigs, Headsets, Psycho Armor (Epaulets), Psycho Stun Guns, Psycho Grenades
Duties: Serving the Four Heavenly Kings, Battle, Base Security, Sabotage

Name: Senior Dolls
Equipment: Psycho Armor (Epualets)
Work: Serving each of the Four Heavenly Kings, Commanding troops and directing battles, Training the Junior and Intermediate Dolls, Battle, Sabotage

These are all soldiers who yearn to be Dolls. Some Junior Dolls appeared in the pachislot game Chun-Li ni makase China (“Chun-Li Leaves China”). The Intermediate and Senior Dolls are more combat-oriented, and tend to be out on the battlefield. Senior Dolls actually outrank the Senior Shadaloo Soldiers! Their code names come from the signature flowers of their home countries, such as the Löwenzahn, a German name for the common Dandelion.
