Street Fighter V’s Latest Update Fixes Survival Mode Bug

As we reported previously, the September 22 update evidently introduced a bug to Survival Mode that prevented players from receiving earned rewards upon completion. Last night, Capcom rolled out a patch to both platforms to address this.

The patch apparently also addresses an issue of cross-play compatibility that arose between the PC and PlayStation4 versions of the updated game. VesperArcade headed to his YouTube Channel to discuss the patch–and its purpose–in a little more detail, in the video below:

Get Ready for CEOtaku This Weekend with Their Official Opening Theme “Run It Back”

CEOtaku is taking place this weekend at the Wyndham Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida. As the name implies, the event focuses on the more anime-inspired fighting games such as BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax and Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- over the usual tournament headliners such as Street Fighter V or Super Smash Bros.

This year’s outing for CEOtaku, however, takes its anime inspirations a step further. As with any good anime, CEOtaku 2016 now has a rocking new OP (opening theme): “Run It Back” by Yuzuki Masu, featuring vocals by Chiisana. Fittingly, the song and accompanying opening video, focuses on dealing with stress and adversity in tournament competition.

Check the official OP out below and get ready for CEOtaku this weekend.

Interested listeners can also find the song, including a couple of alternate versions, over on Yuzuki’s Bandcamp.
