GamerBee Talks with Logan-sama about His Transition to Street Fighter V on the Jump-In Podcast

Zowie’s Bruce “GamerBee” Hsiang has been on a tear lately. The Taiwanese player–who has been one of the crowd favorites since his debut at Evolution 2010–had some difficulties in adapting to Street Fighter V, but has since won two premier events in Japan Cup and EGX in as many weeks.

Today, GamerBee sits down with Logan-sama for the sixteenth episode of the Jump-In Podcast. In this episode, they talk about Hsiang’s transition and breakdown the differences between the Street Fighter IV series and Street Fighter V. They also go over his matches with Ryan Hart, and his general strategy with Necalli. They also discuss why the Adon main gravitated toward Necalli in this iteration of the series.

Learn to Deal with Blowbacks in King of Fighters XIV

Blowbacks in King of Fighters are an important mechanic that can define certain matchups. The ability to retaliate on block is powerful, and as such the techniques to deal with them are vital to playing the game at higher levels. YouTuber sigmaG19 put together this useful tech video showcasing ways to deal with blowbacks with several different characters, as well as ways that this technique was handled in past games.

There is also a great video by Gato Ray on blowbacks, covering options for nearly every character to punish blowbacks on block.

He even provided a helpful “blowback tier” chart describing how difficult to punish each character’s blowback is, and can be found here. For the most difficult to punish characters, he made this follow-up video featuring several punishes capable of reaching the opponent.
