Lab Zero Releases Details on Physical Copies of Skullgirls 2nd Encore
After being out for the better part of five years, Skullgirls is finally able to give English fans the option to hold a physical copy of the game in their hands. As we reported earlier pre-orders will open Monday, letting fans indulge. In preparation for this, Lab Zero has released details on their physical copy, seen below.
The game itself, which will only be pre-orderable for about two weeks, will be $39.99 for both PS4 and PS Vita. Pre-ordering ensures a copy, but after that two weeks the available stock will be limited and eventually run out. The disc comes with a full color manual, as well as a soundtrack and a slipcover for the game. Lab Zero even took to Twitter to boast about their PS Vita slipcover:
Fun Fact: #Skullgirls on PS Vita from @LimitedRunGames will be the first (and probably last) Vita game with a slipcover!
— Skullgirls (@Skullgirls) October 28, 2016
In addition to all of this, there is also the goal of 10,000 pre-orders, which if reached will allow the publisher, Autumn Games, to patch Japanese voices into the game.

Here’s a Sneak Peek At a Beautifully Animated Street Fighter Fan Film
When Capcom first started promoting Street Fighter V, their main tagline was “Rise Up” encouraging fans, both competitive and casual, to rise up and express their passion for the franchise. Now, one creator has taken on that challenge and risen up to create something quite beautiful.
Now some of you may already be familiar with Paul “OtaKing” Johnson’s work. The animator first caught the internet’s attention with the release of his Star Wars fan-film “TIE Fighter”. The short, is an homage to LucasArt’s classic TIE Fighter space flight simulator franchise. What made it catch the eye of many fans was the fact that Johnson lovingly animated the film himself, doing it in the style of old 1980’s cartoons and animé.
Now, he’s turning his attention to Street Fighter with a new fan film. He’s released a short clip from it featuring everyone’s favorite dictator, M. Bison alongside a horde of Shadaloo troopers. You can check it out below.

The Bison has landed.(I managed to get his plane from the anime movie in there!)

Johnson’s target for the film is around 20 minutes, which would make it one of his longest animations to date.
For more on Johnson’s previous work, check out his original TIE Fighter film here. In addition to this, he’s also worked with Mashed on other video game fan animations, including these videos for R-Type and Warframe.
