Improve Your Stage Presence and Grip on Southtown with VesperArcade’s King of Fighters XIV Trial Guides for Athena Asamiya & Geese Howard

Since the game’s release, VesperArcade has been releasing Trial guides for The King of Fighters XIV’s massive roster. He continues marching forward, by covering the pop idol of the Psycho Soldiers, Athena Asamiya, as well as the self-proclaimed ruler of Southtown, the returning Geese Howard. As always, Vesper provides viewers with a handcam, showcasing his inputs and movements in real-time alongside the game footage, giving players an excellent aid in completing these challenges for their character of choice.

You can also check out his recent guides for Kukri, Andy and Terry Bogard, if you’re looking for more. Stay tuned to his channel for more KOF XIV content.

Tanya Does 39% Damage with Just 3 Hits in This Mortal Kombat XL Combo

Combos that can do 30% or more damage in Mortal Kombat XL are not that uncommon, especially when meter use is added. So this video then, showing a 39% combo for Tanya, really shouldn’t be that special, except for one thing: the combo only has 3 hits.

Once she has her opponent with her Dark Shroud, Tanya’s Pyromancer variation can do a jump-in back kick into a meter-burn air fireball. The meter-burned air fireball will do massive amounts of damage due to the Dark Shroud.

Now we’ve seen damaging 3 hit combos before (King of Fighters XIV’s Athena can do a 70% 3-hit for two bars in a specific situation), this one seems quite practical, if Tanya can get the jump-in back kick (or jump-in 4 in MK parlance) to connect.

It’s previous season, SSFC7, was covered here.

If you know a little Japanese (or, if you want to play everyone’s favorite game: deciphering google translations), you can preview this seasons’ games and player scores with Mikado’s public Drive document. Two events have already completed: The King of Fighters ’95 and Samurai Showdown 3.

You can follow the action by subscribing to Mikado’s official YouTube channel. For the night owls in the US, you can even try to catch them when they livestream.

Destiny – Destiny Didn?t Live Up To Its Promise, But Its Sequel Just Might

Now that Destiny’s last expansion has been out in the wild for some time, it’s safe to say that the game never completely lived up to its promise. Even though the game had some great ideas and some of the best gunplay on Playstation 4, the execution never met the mark, even though it became progressively better over time. Friends, Destiny: The Beta is done. Now it’s time to look forward to Destiny 2 — especially if you’re a PC player!
