Dive Kicks into Dive Kicks: Isedelica Showcases Stylish Combos for King of Fighters XIV’s Mian

With a unique moveset and ability to chain multiple dive kicks together, Mian is one of the more interesting newcomers in The King of Fighters XIV. Of course, with a moveset like hers, people are naturally going to want to know what she can do when she puts them together. In their latest combo video, Isedelica does just that, putting together some stylish combos for Mian.

Now, “practical” is the last word you’d use to describe the combos shown here. For the most part, they focus on style, showing what Mian can do out of some very specific situations and interactions. That said, they do lead into some pretty big damage, including a couple of stun combos, as well as touch of death combos that take out an opponent’s entire lifebar.

Punish Every V-Reversal in Street Fighter V with these Guides from MrHoward123

Introduced in Street Fighter V and somewhat similar to Alpha Counters, V-reversals help alleviate pressure when blocking an opponent’s attack, giving the defender some breathing room in order to reposition to either reset to neutral or help regain positional advantage. Just like with Shadow Counters in Killer Instinct, clever players can bait and then punish V-reversals, earning themselves a hefty amount of damage.

MrHoward123 has collated a series of helpful guides for this very purpose, detailing how members of the SFV cast can punish V-reversals most effectively. For someone like Ryu, a well-timed parry can lead into a great V-reversal punish, while grapplers like R. Mika can go to town as the majority of V-Reversals are throw punishable. Some characters like Ken, Dhalsim, Vega and Juri are not detailed in these short guides, but I imagine MrHoward123 will rectify that in future videos. Check out the entire playlist below and you too can become a V-reversal punish master.
