Tech Showcase for The King of Fighters XIV: Verse, Alice, Love Heart & More!
With so many characters, KOF XIV’s roster will take quite a while to get fully fleshed out by the community. There are some characters who get focused on over others, which leaves large gaps of unexplored possibilities with certain characters. In an attempt to fill those gaps, below is some collected tech with characters that doesn’t seem immediately apparent.
First up we have a Verse hit-confirm video, by youtuber Gato Ray, educating us on how best to convert with this character ‘s shoulder tackle. While it seems to lose to blowbacks, there appears to be important applications of the move otherwise.
Next, from the same YouTuber, we have a video on an Alice Safe Jump. Safe Junps, of course, being setups that hit overhead but land in time to block if the opponent mashes a reversal.
From someone other than Gato, we have the YouTuber Persona Entertainment providing an interesting bit of tech with Love Heart. She can apparently stomp out her opponent’s recovery rolls.
