Aaron Pryor dies at age 60

Former world champion Aaron Pryor died on Sunday morning after a long battle against heart disease at the age of 60.
Pryor, who was WBA light welterweight champion from 1980-1983 and IBF light welterweight champion from 1983-1985, is best remembered for his two fights with Nicaragua’s Alexis Arguello. Pryor defeated the three-weight world champion by KO each time.
The American hung up his gloves in 1991 with a record of 39-1 (35 KOs). Pryor was also inducted into the International Boxing Hall…

Killer Instinct Online God ITAMaster411 Takes Kombo Klash Netherlands

Coming down from his online throne to his first offline international, Ranked monster and Thunder main ITAMaster411 has claimed victory at Kombo Klash Netherlands, earning himself a ticket to the Killer Instinct World Cup. With over 18 Pro Stars to his name and an almost constant top position on the global leaderboard for KI, ITAMaster411 proved that he is truly a master of Killer Instinct, both on and offline. He only dropped games to King of the Ring #1 winner and second place finisher TYI|LeChatNoir, who was actually able to reset the bracket and take Italy’s hero to a game 5 situation in the second set. The call of nature was clearly on ITAMaster’s side however, clutching out the win and earning his guaranteed spot at the KI World Cup.

Elsewhere in the bracket, there were the time old struggles between England and France, with Valoraxe sending fellow Cinder player Crotus88 into Losers’, where MBA|Banemobius was unfortunately able to finish the Frenchman off. LeChatNoir was forced to teamkill Crotus88 in Losers’ Semis but was able to avenge his fallen countryman by defeating Valoraxe 3-2 in Losers’ Finals. Crotus88 actually knocked his older brother Bastfree into the lower bracket after a tense 3-2 set in the first round of top 8, with hometown defender TDB|Ki4Life sending the lab monster out at seventh place. However, the Dutch were unable to combat the combined French and English assault, with LeChatNoir sending TDB|HeeroNL into Losers to then be eliminated by Banemobius. The last Dutchman Ki4Life eventually went out in Losers’ Quarters, with LeChatNoir proving himself as the better Hisako and ending the Dutch chances at their own tournament.

Unfortunately, the VODs for Kombo Klash Netherlands are split up across multiple videos, with quite a few having some nasty sound problems but you can view the majority of Top 8 here and the nailbiting Grand Finals set here.

RESULTS:

1. ITAMaster411 (Thunder/Italy)
2. TYI|LeChatNoir (Hisako/France)
3. Valoraxe (Cinder/UK)
4. Crotus88 (Cinder/France)
5. MBA|Banemobius (Eyedol, Spinal/UK)
5. TDB|Ki4Life (Hisako, Orchid/Netherlands)
7. TDB|HeeroNL (Gargos, Glacius/Netherlands)
7. Bastfree (Kim Wu, Rash, Orchid/France)

See The Limits of Skullgirls 2nd Encore Pushed With This CMV ‘Gunrock’

Skullgirls is often a game praised for the freedom it gives players in playing how they want, crafting their own combos, and all around shaping the game to their needs. Combo creator Mr. Peck shows off how much is truly possible within the Skullgirls engine, with sliding Peacock combos, Double Fridge loops, ground bounce loops, midscreen assist kills, and crazy side switch corner carry combos. Not much of this is practical, but it sure as hell is fancy.

If you enjoyed that, be sure to check out Mr. Peck’s last CMV, that we covered earlier this year.
