Keep Those Kicks Coming with These Nuki-Inspired Post-Critical Art Setups for Chun-Li in Street Fighter V

Inspired by Nuki’s No Recovery follow-up after a successful Critical Art, Some Fresh Guys have hit the lab and have collected a list of setups that Chun-Li can use after her CA. These setups require that the opponent does not quick rise or back roll, so mix up your options after a Critical Art to keep your opponent on their toes after a knockdown.

These setups cover almost every option should the opponent not quick rise or back roll, including them mashing a three frame jab or throwing out a panic Shoryuken on wake-up. The stomp into light kick Air Lightning Legs to cover some no recovery options has a strict timing window to pull off, but it does combo on counterhit according to Some Fresh Guys.

Over Six Hours of MadKOF Beasting in The King of Fighters XIV

As always, MadKOF is grinding away in online matches, streaming and uploading. This 2012 KOFXIII Evo champion wreaked havoc on that year’s brackets along with his CafeId crew, taking up four of the top eight spots. Around that time, he would stream playing online matches as random select. His knowledge of the KOF series extends to every character, and there’s always something to pick up from watching him play a character you like.

You’ll see him play the likes of Meitenkun, Kukri, Leona, Mian, Terry, Robert, K’, King, Athena, Angel, and tons more. Setups, simple combos, max mode combos, blockstrings, frame traps, you name it. Watching a player of this caliber is a great learning resource.
