Mirror mirror–who’s the best Ken of them all?

Xuses likes to shine a spotlight on players we might not be very familiar with yet; in this new compilation of online matches via the Capcom Fighters Network, we get a closer look at two of the best Ken players Japan has to offer: Kintyo and Rintarou. There’s a lot of great Ken gameplay to take in here, and this is especially worth a look for players that want to learn more about the Ken mirror matchup!

Watch the Yahoo Esports Feature on BST|Daigo Umehara: “Becoming a Legend”

There likely isn’t a single person in today’s FGC who hasn’t heard the name Daigo Umehara. The landscape of today’s game owes a lot to the exploits of Daigo over the years, with one of the most famous moments in competitive gaming history–belonging to Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike–thanks to him. We may not have even reached the level of esports that we enjoy today without him pushing the community and the level of competition as far as it’s gotten today.

Yahoo esports has just put together an inspiring documentary on Daigo, getting words from himself and other pillars of the community on his personal life and his history with the FGC. He’s a very humble person, expressing respect and appreciation for the community along with his desire to give back to everyone who loves the game. It’s a great documentary; check it out.

Tempo Storm Interviews Johnny “S2J” Kim About His History with the Super Smash Bros. Series

A man of few words, Tempo Storm’s Johnny “S2J” Kim is known for letting his explosive Captain Falcon play speak for him. Regarded as the best Falcon player in the world by many in the Super Smash Bros. Melee community, Tempo Storm decided it was time to for fans to hear more about their latest Melee signing, so they have released a special interview with S2J, so people can learn about his history with the franchise.

S2J actually started off playing Super Smash Bros. 64 competitively, learning the game via netplay and eventually going to SoCal tournaments while studying at UCLA. It was only after attending tournaments for both 64 and Melee, where he would meet among others, future best friends Dunk, C9|Mango and Selfless|Lucky who would start him on the path to playing Melee competitively.
