Brawlhalla Mod Replaces the Game’s Stage Backgrounds with Retro Gaming Imagery

Brawlhalla is a very visually-distinct game in the fighting genre. The flash-art style texture belies gameplay that many swear by (with many unique features, and an interesting take on balance). While the game already allows the players to customize their characters through in-game clothing and weapon skins, some players have taken it upon themselves to further personalize the experience with mod packs.

What we’re looking at today is a mod that brings the looks of Mega Man 2, Kirby, Super Mario Bros. 3, Metroid, and Contra to the game. This pack comes from user lasensualidad, who textured this pack with iconic tiles and backgrounds for various stages in Brawlhalla, and can be downloaded here.

Capcom 3 update, he dropped into relative obscurity; however, this combo video shows that he still has potential. But with him comes two other characters in UMvC3 that have see-sawed on the tier lists throughout the years–Doctor Strange and Hawkeye. This is a seriously fun team with amazing synergy that allows Wesker the opportunity to do what he does best.
