Heroes of the Storm – Team Responds to the Release of Another Warcraft Assassin

The Heroes of the Storm forum has been agitated after the announcement of the release of the next hero, Valeera Sanguinar, a Warcraft Assassin character. Players are wondering why so many 1) Warcraft heroes; and 2) so many Assassin heroes have been released into the game. In answer, Blizzard’s Lead Hero Designer Kent-Erik Hagman responded with a lengthy post explaining the hero design process and how the decisions have been made with regard to the release of heroes into the game.

– Wizards of the Coast Opens Digital Studio

Wizards of the Coast is moving into the computer age with the opening of its first digital studio and big plans to “reimagine” Magic the Gathering and other Wizards products in the new format. Could there be an MMO in the future or an augmented reality project? It’s possible. The goal of the studio is to “make Wizards experiences more efficient, connected and convenient”.
