Mixup into Death? Akuma Mixup Guarantees Stun in Street Fighter V, Leads to Massive Damage

The Street Fighter community has been ablaze with Akuma hype since his initial reveal, none of which has calmed down since his release. We’ve been posting Akuma-specific roundups, just to compile all of the tech people have been creating, and today we have something pretty powerful to add to your game.

We’re shown this mixup by VesperArcade, and it’s a frighteningly powerful one. The basic setup requires the corner and costs V-Trigger and one EX bar. You can combo into the setup from a variety of starters, then after a quick left-right mixup, a short string will stun the opponent. After this stun, you’re free to continue the combo and finish off your opponent.
