HORI Announces Tekken 7 Arcade Stick to Release Alongside Game’s Console Launch

With the announcement of the June 2nd release of Tekken 7, comes an announcement of a special edition fight stick to match. With Mad Catz seemingly slimming their production in the market, HORI is stepping up to grab the market share left open–and as such has revealed a Tekken 7 arcade stick.

The stick will function on PlayStation 4, and will be released on June 1st. The stick will also feature the famed NOIR arcade layout that resembles the layouts on Astro City cabinets, and was also featured on the Mad Catz Tournament Edition stick for Soul Calibur V. No word yet on whether there will also be an Xbox One edition of the stick, with Tekken also being released on Microsoft’s console.

Torment: Tides of Numenera – Five Expectations for Torment: Tides of Numenera

There has been a lot of talk in the media lately about Tides of Numenera, the latest RPG that is coming out from InXile. It is important because InXile was able to Kickstart the game and has now built a solid product we can all look forward to. It seems like crowd funding is the only way these types of games are being made any more. However, with Torment being on everyone’s mind, maybe publishers will start to turn their eyes on the RPG genre again.

Fans of the Banner Saga series will be interested to learn that Stoic has announced the commencement of a KickStarter campaign for The Banner Saga 3. The team is hoping to raise $200,000 in the next 30-days. The Banner Saga 3 will be the final game in the series and will see players heading beyond the wall of Darkness.

Blizzard is ready to bring the Chinese New Year into Overwatch with today’s expected announcement of the Year of the Rooster event. Details about the event have been leaking throughout the internet all week, incuding the Year of the Rooster launch trailer and the news that the Lijiang Tower map will be turned into a form of “capture the flag” with the flag being replaced by, what else? A rooster!
