How Does the Razer Panthera Compare against Other Sticks? IPlayWinner Performed Lag Tests
The Razer Panthera seems to be the best stick that Razer has put out on the market yet. It appears the company has learned from their past mistakes, and have started to put together a quality stick that should last a long time.
But how is the input latency on this stick compared to others on the market? IPlayWinner did a lag test between arcade sticks. Using The King of Fighters XIV, they performed input tests by wiring up a button to the same input on two different sticks, then pressed the button to get what should be simultaneous inputs. A perfect test would consist of nothing but trades.
Based on their findings, however, the stick lagged slightly behind the Mad Catz TE 2 and the Qanba Crystal. It was also well behind the Brook Universal Fighting Board. While being slightly ahead of the Hori V3 Pro in Legacy Mode, it was well ahead of the same stick using the Brook converter.
[SRK’s own d3v has also conducted this test with a single Mad Catz model in his review of the Panthera; IPW’s results appear consistent with his. – Editor]

Check Out Some More Combos for Urien (& Friends) in Street Fighter V
More of Urien’s Season 2 power on display.
One of Street Fighter V’s latest threats, Urien is gaining a reputation for being a serious contender for the upper tiers in SFV–at least, he is after the Season 2 update. His potential for dominating the match and dealing serious damage through elaborate–and frankly, a little scary–combos is greater than ever!
HapkidoRed has been playing around with Urien since before the Season 2 changes, and continues to upload videos showcasing what the tyrant is capable of. He’s also dabbled a bit in two other SFV villians–namely Akuma and M. Bison–and thrown some of that in for fun as well. Here’s his latest offerings.
