Mass Effect: Andromeda – PAX East 2017 – Hands On with Multiplayer
Our first appointment at PAX was to sit down with Mass Effect Andromeda and play through a multi-player demo. Initial thoughts were that it would be a PvP battle, however it was more of a survival mode fight against waves of Raiders. You are teamed with three other players to join in and survive the attacks in a set battlefield. Different series of objectives appear throughout, but this scenario was all about firepower.

Alex Valle Talks about Level Up’s Origins on IGN’s Esports Stories
Alex Valle is the perennial North American legend of fighting games. With all the things that fighting game players have done–traveling to Japan, or facing off against the world’s best while emerging victorious–Valle has done all of that, and more.
While still a competitor, Valle is mostly on the production and organizational side of the events now. When he sat down with IGN to talk about Wednesday Night Fights–and his motivation for starting Level Up–he also talked about his desire to see the newer players rise up to beat the best, and his feelings of putting that before his own competitive aspirations.

Killer Instinct Players Interviewed on Why They Love the Game
We all have that one game or series that we love. A love that has stood the test of time, carrying us through years of gaming. We sometimes love completely different games and companies, but that core passion is the same no matter what game we play.
Killer Instinct is one such game that’s had fans from across generations. Some of us got into the game back in ’90s arcades, others when it came to the SNES or the Nintendo 64, while others still are finding that love for the first time with the Xbox One’s update to the franchise. Killer Instinct sat down several players to get into a bit of why each of them love the game.
