Following his last episode back in January, LiangHUBBB is back with another installment of his long-running Funny & Cool Moments series. This edition includes clips from–but not limited to–Street Fighter V, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Soul Calibur V, Power Stone, the Injustice 2 Online Beta, Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR-, Dead or Alive 5: Last Round, Tekken 7: Fated Retribution, Ultra Street Fighter IV, and even a bit of For Honor.

In this video, you’ll see a V-Trigger comeback from Chun-Li off of a whiffed EX Goshoryuken from Akuma, all the hits of Gouken’s Denjin Hadoken absorbed by Hugo’s Meat Squasher, Makoto fully absorbing Ryu’s Metsu Hadoken with Red Focus to get a punish, an M. Bison player jumping over Chun-Li’s Critical Art–only to kill himself by teleporting back into it with a backdash–and more.

Other highlights include a bit of salt from one of Floe’s streams, Guile’s Sonic Hurricane being interrupted by Nadeshiko, a great Danger Time comeback from FAB on Panda Global’s MarlinPie, Mika dropping the mic on Ryu for the win, Chun-Li blocking a Birdie onslaught only to die on his can, stylish Injustice 2 combos, Bison and Urien’s Critical Arts canceling each other out, Victor “Spooky” Fontanez commenting on Ayane’s boob bounce, as well as the thrilling Danger Time sequence from Anime Ascension. Japanese Skullgirls players are quite interesting to watch. They have a completely unique way of playing the game, one that’s fresh after years of watching American play. Recently an offline Skullgirls event was held in Japan on February 25th, on the PC version of the game–likely due to the latest patch not yet arriving on consoles.

You can watch the compiled footage from this event below, as posted on スカルガールズ対戦会. They still have a ways to go, ironing out their play styles and tightening up their combos and setups, but it’s flat out refreshing to see completely unseen tactics like using Cerebella’s s.hk assist. It’s exciting waiting for their play to evolve, and see just how far they’ll take these options–that USA players rarely consider.

The King of Fighters XIV is riding a solid wave of momentum as of late. With the KOF World Championships recently concluding–along with the announcement of new content–it’s never been a better time to learn the game.

However, with a staggering roster of 50 characters–that is set to expand even morein the future–choosing a team of three can prove quite the challenge. Fortunately, the community for the SNK fighter has a wealth of content creators making tutorials and guides for the various cast members, to introduce them to new players. We’ve collected some great recent content here in this roundup.

Following his coverage of Leona Heidern, Ra3bones continues his Beginner Breakdowns by looking at the two remaining members of the Ikari Warriors Team, Clark Still and Ralf Jones. He’s also covered the first member of the Fatal Fury team, Joe Higashi. These Tutorials give a basic overview of each character’s tools, from their normals, to what they can do off throws, specials, supers and cancels, along with some basic combos. This should provide any player a good starting point with these characters; timestamps are included so viewers can come back to any section for review. You can see all three guides below.
