The Neverwinter site has been updated with the news that support for Windows XP and Direct 3D 9 and lower has officially ended as of yesterday. This includes video cards with Direct 3D hardware feature level that is less than 10. The team has worked with the community since the original announcement in December and believes that players impacted by the change will be minimal.

WBC bans Alexander Povetkin over failed drug tests
Heavyweight contender Alexander Povetkin (31-1, 23 KOs) has been handed a fine of $250,000 and banned indefinitely by the WBC for doping violations.
Povetkin twice tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs in 2016.
WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman announced that the organization has suspended Povetkin from participating in any WBC-sanctioned bouts indefinitely and fined him $250,000.

In the first, players are informed that the artillery class is being removed from PvP, though it will remain for PvE activities. The removal is due to a lack of diversity in game play and the team will be working to create more interesting core mechanics in the future.

The Secret World has entered “Golden Week” where players can hunt down Samsu Nasiru, the Guardian of Gaia to get hold of cool rewards and tokens that can be exhanged for items including pets, Lucky Coins and more. The latest beta client has also brought on a 16-player raid dungeon and a new faction-based PvP feature. The factions are the Iron Blood Brotherhood and the Guardian Alliance.
