Skyforge – The Casual Action MMO Shines on PS4

When Skyforge launched in 2015 on PC, we liked it, even if it felt ultimately shallow and overly complicated in some aspects. Fast forward almost 2 years, and the Allods Team/Obsidian MMORPG is launching on the PlayStation 4. Arguably, this is where the game should have been all along, as it seems custom-made for the console, and with recent changes made to progression and combat, feels a lot more fun to play.

Final Fantasy XIV – 14-Day Free Trial Limit Removed, Experience Now ‘Unlimited’

If you’re still waiting to try out Final Fantasy XIV, this may be the right time as the 14-day limit on the free trial has been lifted. The experience is now unlimited, though there are restrictions in place. Any experience or items gained during the free trial will be transferred to the full version if purchased. Lastly, anyone who has previously tried the trial can restart it at any time.

– PlaneScape: Torment to be Remastered by Beamdog

Beamdog is a company that has been bringing some of the finest RPGs of all time to a new generation via remastered editions. Baldur’s Gate, Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn, Icewind Dale are all part of the “new” generation of “old games” that have crossed platforms to tablets and more. The team even added a new chapter to Baldur’s Gate with the Siege of Dragonspear expansion that bridged the gap between the first and second games in the series.
