New Japan Pro Wrestling X Tekken T-shirts now available at ProWrestlingTees

Last year, we reported on a collaboration between New Japan Pro Wrestling and Tekken 7: Fated Retribution. This saw T-shirts for the Bullet Club and Chaos factions being added to the game’s customization options, as well as a special “Rainmaker” outfit for King based off of IWGP Heavyweight champion Kazuchika Okada. Additionally, a pair of real-world T-shirts were printed up for Japanese fans, to be sold by NJPW and Bandai Namco Entertainment.

ProWrestlingTees has now announced that they will be selling both the “Bullet Club X Tekken” and “Rain Maker X Tekken King” shirts, starting today! This marks the first time either shirt has been made available outside of Japan, which should be a real treat for New Japan and Tekken fans alike. Both shirts are priced at $30.99 (with an extra $8.99 in shipping if you live outside the United States), and you can check out both designs below.

Put your fists up for Vanessa’s combos–post the 2.01 patch–in The King of Fighters XIV

Last week, The King of Fighters XIV received a patch that–while small–still included a number of changes for the characters. One character who received these changes was Vanessa, who lost some combo follow-up options out of some of her moves.

In a new combo video, playergodaines explores what Vanessa can do now, after the patch. Based on the video below, it seems that Vanessa hasn’t really lost that much in terms of combos and damage output. Given enough meter, Vanessa can still stun her opponent mid-combo, allowing for follow ups that lead to big damage.

Justin Wong talks to BornFree about Karin, Punk, and getting ready for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite

Justin Wong is still ready to tear it up in any and all fighting games!

At last weekend’s DreamHack Austin, BornFree managed to get a bit of time to talk to Echo Fox’s Justin Wong about a variety of topics–such as consulting PG|Punk as a fellow Karin main for advice on being more aggressive, the increasingly explosive (and thus more spectator-friendly) direction of Street Fighter V, and how Balrog is presently the best character in the game. They also discuss Wong’s favorite players, Arika’s potential Fighting Layer sequel, and how playing Tatsunoko vs. Capcom may be the best way to prepare for the upcoming Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.
