David Gama interviews Street Fighter V pro Alex Myers in the latest episode of Good Gamer Show

The latest episode of David Gama’s “Good Gamer Show” is out, and it features Street Fighter V Cammy extraordinaire Alex Myers.

This footage was recorded before his Ronin departure, so it’s interesting to see this in hindsight as he expresses uncertainty about his contract renewal. Perhaps related to this, Alex reveals his desire to play online more, and expounds on its virtues. There’s a lot of topics covered in this hour long talk, from Alex’s personal feelings on player’s on-camera personalities, to his most anticipated non-SFV game: The King of Fighters XIV’s Steam release.

Rising Up: Ed beta “leftovers” — Follow-ups to heavy charged punch

Another glimpse at Ed’s capabilities–for whenever we can get our hands on him again!

The Street Fighter V second CFN beta has ended, and Ed is unfortunately locked away again, with no release date yet known. However, Bafael wasn’t quite finished with his exploration of Ed from the prior bread ‘n’ butter video, and has added another look at the Young Commander’s “leftovers”–specifically: following up on his tricky charged heavy punch.

Bafael also demonstrates out some fun stuff with Ed’s V-Trigger. Naturally, we don’t know how Ed may be altered before his official release, so we’ll have to wait and see how much of this remains in that version of the character.

Capcom catches up with Bonchan at Battle Arena Melbourne 9

This past weekend’s Battle Arena Melbourne 9 gave us one of the big surprises of the current Capcom Pro Tour season: sticking to his guns with a character many had deemed too nerfed to be competitive, Red Bull’s Masato “Bonchan” Takahashi took his Nash all the way to grand finals, eventually winning the tournament.

Capcom’s Matt Edwards caught up with Bonchan at the event to talk about his win, and a few other topics. These include his feelings on putting Nash “back on the map” with his victory at BAM 9–hopefully inspiring other Nash players–as well as his own thoughts on the Australian competitors, and more.
