– The Next-Generation MMO Machine

It’s been over three years since I last built a gaming PC. At the time, my Angry Caretaker devoured every MMO on the market, delivering outstanding performance in World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2, and Star Wars: The Old Republic. I even splashed out for a new-fangled SSD, blessing my favourite games with ultra-fast load times.

New in-game screenshot of Future Trunks in Dragon Ball FighterZ revealed by Dragon Ball Game Twitter

Last week, we reported that Future Trunks would be joining the playable cast of Dragon Ball FighterZ, according to Weekly Jump. In the accompanying screenshot, he was performing his signature Heat Dome attack. The official Dragon Ball Game Twitter account has released another screenshot of the time-traveling Saiyan, as he has just stricken Frieza with what appears to be his Lighting Sword Slash, which he used to destroy Android 14 in the film Super Android 13!  You can see the Tweet that includes the screenshot below.

This also confirms he’ll be utilizing his signature sword in battle, undoubtedly giving him extremely long reach on his normals and specials, compared to the rest of the current cast members. Though no other details were given, we’ll hopefully be seeing a gameplay trailer for this fighter soon. Other characters confirmed for the title include Goku, Teen Gohan, Vegeta, Frieza, Perfect Cell, and Majin Buu. With Trunks clearly donning his Capsule Corp jacket from DBZ, it will be interesting to see if Kid Trunks or his new transformation from Dragon Ball Super will make an appearance in this title.

What are your thoughts on the addition of Future Trunks to the DBFZ roster? Let us know your thoughts on his potential play style in the comments.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is expected to be released in early 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, with a closed beta being released before the end of the summer.

It’s becoming a fairly usual Tuesday ritual for the Street Fighter V servers to close up for maintenance for a while, and they will do exactly that again today — from between 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM PDT.

At least this time, there’s some new content coming along with it; today we’ll be getting the premium school uniform outfits for R. Mika, Nash, and Ibuki. They should be available for purchase once the servers are back up.

Hopefully we get more of these in the future for some characters that are lacking in the extra outfit department. I want to see Dhalsim as the eccentric history teacher, P.E. wrestling coach Zangief, Akuma as the scruffy janitor, and M. Bison as the overbearing school principal.
