Punch Planet to be playable at Evo 2017, marks debut of new character Tyara

There’s a lot of reasons to stop by the indie showcase on Evo floor every year. This year, one of those reasons should be to play as Punch Planet’s newest character, Tyara.

The Amazon Princess looks like an obvious nod to the alien girls of 70s and 80s sci-fi, and she’s armed with a brutal arsenal of weapons. According to the game’s site, she likely will fill the missing ‘grappler’ spot in the cast’s roster, so I’m going to make a bold prediction: get your 360s ready.

It’s been a long road for the PC Fighter, which was greenlit on Steam last year. Tyara’s implementation marks the final character to be released of the first four revealed characters, though Sector-K games promised in their SRK interview that the final cast count would total 8 on release. Maybe EVO will bring the reveal of the last 4 characters as well?

Guild Wars 2 – New Zones & Replayability

The biggest way for Arenanet to add new open world content comes in the form of new and engaging maps, which are accompanied by useful, game changing masteries. It’s a tool for putting out exciting content that players can explore and enjoy, and makes the world feel like it is expanding. The issue is that the new maps are becoming deserted as people finish the content, making meta events and rewards harder to obtain for anyone still wanting to try it out.

Simply put, quality of life updates make the game “healthier” for years to come.
