Red Bull Esports has launched the fist episode of its documentary into the life of their Zangief pro, Darryl “Snake Eyez” Lewis:
This episode has two major focuses. The first is Snake Eyez’s training regime: how much time he practices, his diet, and his lifestyle. The other focus is his trip to, and opening match at, Final Round 20. Snake Eyez breaks down his own approach to tournament play, and how he gets clues into other players’ playstyle through their mentality and mannerisms.

Ubisoft and ESL announce the For Honor “Hero Series” online international tournament series with $10K in cash prizes
Starting on Saturday, July 8th, Ubisoft and ESL will start their For Honor tournament series, the”Hero Series.” This 1v1 tournament series will be held every Saturday during the month of July, across all platforms: Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Three regions will be competing in separate tournaments (North America, South America, and Europe) and the top players from each region and platform will be invited to play in Ubisoft’s live finals at the Intel Esports Arena in Burbank, CA on August 12th.
The Finals will be broadcast live on the For Honor Twitch channel, For Honor’s Facebook Live, as well as on Ubisoft’s YouTube channel.
In order to participate you must register online. In doing so, you can also get a glimpse of how many people are currently signed up for each tournament. Judging on tomorrow’s entrants alone, it looks like there’s a lot of people vying “for honor” (and money), so you’ll need to bring your A-game. It’s a good thing you have four tournaments to shoot for!
There’s also a separate competition for those that dream of commentating. Ubisoft is taking auditions for For Honor casting, and two individuals will be selected from submissions to join the commentary desk.
You can find out more about the tournament series, and register for both competitions, on the official Hero Series website!
