Destiny 2 – Console Open Beta Extended Through Tuesday

If you didn’t get enough Destiny 2 over the weekend during the console open beta, we have some great news for you. The beta event has been extended through Tuesday, July 25th until 6:00 pm Pacific / 9:00 pm Eastern. The announcement was made via Bungie Twitter with the extra tidbit that the extension is for “additional service testing”.

Final Fantasy XIV – Massive Russian and Brazilian Monthly Price Spike Reported

According to a post on the Final Fantasy XIV forum, Brazilian and Russian players have had a massive monthly price increase on Steam. One poster has discovered that monthly sub fees have gone from about $9 per month to $13.40 per month. Meanwhile, Russian players have seen a price increase from about $5 per month to $15 per month. According to Square Enix customer support, this was done to “bring prices using these currencies in-line with the global pricing structure”.
