– AORUS M3 Optical Gaming Mouse Review

Complexity seems to be the name of the game when it comes to gaming peripherals, but there’s something to be said for deciding what you want to do and really doing it right. That’s where Gigabyte’s new mouse, the AORUS M3 comes in. The M3 isn’t on the cutting edge and isn’t meant to be. Instead, it keeps its price to $40 and delivers performance to leave any gamer satisfied. Read on for our review.

SSB Goku, SSB Vegeta, Android 18, and Android 16 are coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ

Ahead of Gamescom, Weekly Jump and V-Jump magazines have revealed that Goku and Vegeta will be getting access to their Super Saiyan Blue forms in Dragon Ball FighterZ. Based on the screenshots provided by Weekly Jump, SSB Goku and Vegeta will be separate characters, rather than being short-term transformations like Freeza’s Golden Super. Goku will have access to the Kaioken in his SSB form, with one of his Supers being the 10x God Kamehameha.

The other big news from this issue of Weekly Jump is that rather than Android 17, it is Android 16 and 18 that are confirmed to be playable in DBFZ. Android 17 still makes an appearance in game though, acting as part of Android 18’s Accel Dance Super and joining in for many of Android 18’s special moves. As for Android 16, his Super is Hell’s Flash and his appearance in DBFZ forms a major part of the game’s Story Mode.

The Story Mode has various dead Dragon Ball characters — like Android 16 — coming back to fight in a sort of “what if” scenario. According to Weekly Jump, “super warriors fall[ing] one by one” during the Story Mode, making it sound similar to the Tournament of Power currently going on in the Dragon Ball Super anime. Seeing as dead characters can be revived for this tournament, all bets are off as to who can join the DBFZ roster. Plus, with elements of Super being fair game, it looks like we could see characters like Beerus, Hit and even Jiren joining the roster in due course.

There is also word of a special six-player online mode, where each player controls a single character in a 3v3 battle. If you can imagine Scramble Mode from Street Fighter x Tekken, dial it up to 11 and you’ve got an idea of this bonkers battle mode.

Capcom releases the full story trailer for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite

With just over a month to go until the release of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, Capcom have released a full story trailer for the crossover fighter. Showing off Jedah, Dormammu, Ghost Rider and Firebrand ahead of Gamescom, this Story Mode summary hints at the true scale of MvC:I’s plot.

Jedah is a main villain in MvC:I, conspiring with Dormammu to unleash a giant Symbiote beast to stop the Marvel and Capcom heroes from taking the Soul Stone. As heroes like Haggar and Spider-Man are beaten back, Ghost Rider flies in with Morrigan to fight the malevolent vampire. Based on this trailer, the Story Mode will have us hopping between different missions, as our heroes try to stop both Ultron-Sigma and other villains from claiming the remaining Infinity Stones.

Other things to note in this trailer are the appearance of Dr. Light from the Megaman series — and that Capcom have finally fixed Chun-Li’s face! Producer Mike Evans had promised that Chun-Li’s character model would be improved in time for MvC:I’s launch, and Capcom looks to have delivered on that promise.

Capcom have also revealed the suite of modes that will be available when MvC:I launches in September. Alongside Story Mode, you’ve got the standard single player selection of Arcade Mode, Training Mode, tutorial missions, character challenges and the Dr. Light Database — basically MvC:I’s art and music collection. As for online modes, the big standout is the Beginners League, which allows players between ranks 1-14 to play in a special training league. For those who are still learning the ropes, this seems like a great way to find your footing before you set off into the wilds of Ranked play.

Jedah, Dormammu, Ghost Rider, and Firebrand bring the launch roster of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite up to 30 characters, with six more to come via the game’s season pass. Based on previous leaks and announcements from Capcom, we know at least five of the six characters. They are:

  • Black Panther
  • Sigma
  • Winter Soldier
  • A Monster Hunter
  • Venom

There is still one character up in the air, but we’ll no doubt find out who they are in the coming months. If you want to get your hands on Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite before its September 19th launch, it will be playable at Toronto Fan Expo, PAX West, as well as Sony’s Road to Greatness games tour. For all the dates on the Road to Greatness tour, check out the official tour site.
