First BlazBlue: Central Fiction 2.0 gameplay footage shows patch changes, Jubei matches

The BlazBlue: Central Fiction 2.0 patch is hitting arcades shortly, and with it, a host of changes as well as Jubei. While there’s definitely plenty of excitement for the new character, there are 35 other fighters who have a varying amount of modifications.

The official Arc System Works livestream presented a Jubei overview first, detailing his move set, which happens in the first ten minutes or so. The next two hours or so run sets, showcasing most of the characters from the cast. Not everyone gets a spotlight, but we see plenty of Jubei action. There’s also some Amane versus Tager, multiple Es matches, Hakumen, Susano’o, Lambda, Kagura, Jin, Ragna, Arakune, and a Nine vs. Izanami later on in the video. Jubei even faces the other “cat fighter” in the game, Taokaka.

Get in on your opponent with this ambiguous cross-up option select for Catwoman in Injustice 2

After the latest round of balance patches, many people may be thinking that Catwoman has been left in the dust in Injustice 2. However, this wily cat still has some claws.

In this new video from UltraChen, James Chen details a new option select for Catwoman that involves her two strings that start off with the light attack, or “1” button: forward 1, 1, 2, 3 and back 1, 2, down 3 (2 is medium attack, 3 is heavy). The option select works off an ambiguous cross-up that results in one of the two strings coming out, depending on where the player lands — with one of the strings having an attack that must be blocked low, adding a second layer to the mix-up if the defending player guesses the cross-up correctly.
