Cutcc’s “QuickNotes” gives a crash course on Tekken 7’s Bryan Fury

If you have six minutes to spare, then you have time to get a quick understanding of Bryan’s toolset in Tekken 7. This is thanks to the efforts of Cutcc, a Tekken content creator who is working on the tutorial series “QuickNotes.”

– Co-Op in Story Driven RPGs

I’ve actually held up SWTOR’s story co-op as one of its best features when writing about the game over the years, but for as much as I love playing things co-op, I’m not too sure about the idea when it comes to story driven “singleplayer” RPGs.

WildStar – Homecoming Update Announced for September 6th

The WildStar team has announced that the next major update, Homecoming, will be ready to deploy on September 6th. The site has a brief overview of what you can expect including Communities, essentially “neighborhoods” where players can work together to create and build a unique environment. These include “expanded social features that affords players the cosmic opportunity to relocate their homes to shared land.”

Catch Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball FighterZ Gamescom livestream VOD feat. Maximilian, Rhymestyle, & Woolie

With a new build of Dragon Ball FighterZ now being shown at Gamescom, Bandai Namco Games took some time out to host a livestream of the game. The stream features notable guests Maximilian Christiansen, noted Dragonball game video creator Rhymstyle, and Super Best Friends’ Woolie Madden.

For those who missed it, Bandai Namco Games has now shared the replay of the stream up on their YouTube channel.  The stream showcases the Gamescom build of the game, which puts a spotlight on the many changes that they’ve made since the previous build from E3. Of course, with all the guests, they naturally get into matches, taking the new characters out for a spin.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is set to release in February, 2018.

– Episodic Anime ARPG ‘Closers’ Coming This Fall

En Masse Entertainment has announced that it is bringing Closers to North America and Europe later this fall. Closers is an “episodic anime beat ’em up” game that stars psychic teens trying to save the world in futuristic New Seoul. “They balance the everyday obligations of high school life” with trying to beat back an “army of invading interdimensional aliens”. All of this is accomplished through side-scrolling arcade action.
