Become king of the ring with this Ramon beginner breakdown for The King of Fighters XIV

YouTuber Raebones’ has been consistently producing content focusing on easing beginners into The King of Fighters XIV since the game was first released. His latest beginner breakdown video focuses on Ramon, the high-flying agent-turned-pro wrestler.

While Ramon isn’t necessarily topping anyone’s tier list, he’s a decent grappler who could become a viable threat if lent the right amount of time and talent. As always, Raebones’ tutorial does a great job of quickly analyzing each of the characters moves in a way that is comprehensive and digestible.

New Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite footage from Maximilian provides first look at New Metro City and Dark Kingdom stages

Frequent FGC content uploader Maximilian has released a new video of Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite, showcasing off the recently announced New Metro City and Dark Kingdom stages. We also get some new footage of Haggar and Nemesis battling Thor and Strider, clad in some of their alternate colors that will be returning from Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, as well as Thor and Morrigan facing Doctor Strange and Strider in the “Dark Kingdom”.

Perhaps most importantly though, Max noted that he has seen the effects of the Soul Infinity Stone, noting that he won’t have any footage of it in action until next week, as it’s likely being revealed at Gamescom next Tuesday. According to Max, it is “exactly what you think it is and way more,” and that it’s “one of the things [he’s] more excited about” in MvC:I at present.

A few months back, Ryce — who leaked the majority of the game’s base roster — noted that the Stone’s Infinity Surge allows the user to steal some life from the opposing team, while the Infinity Storm allows the user to revive a dead character. With Max seemingly indicating that there is more to the sixth and final Stone, perhaps we’ll be seeing the return of the “Variable Cross” or “Duo Team Attack” feature from 1998’s Marvel Vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes.

Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite will be released on September 19th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam in North America and Europe, with a Japan release following on September 21st.

Buenos Aires True Salt streaming live from Buenos Aires, Argentina

Argentina is getting some Capcom Pro Tour action this weekend via Buenos Aires True Salt, brought to you by UAFG. In addition to the Street Fighter V CPT Ranking Event are tournaments for Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2, The King of Fighters XIV, Tekken 7 and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

A few big names are planned to be in attendance, including Justin Wong, K-Brad, and Flash from the US, along with South America veterans like Kane Blueriver, Brolynho and Misterio.
