It feels like this is a list we should revisit every so often, especially as games change, games launch, and games die in the world of MMORPGs. The following is a list we compiled using something we like to call “our hearts and minds and asses”. Our Top 10 Great MMOs of All Time list is merely our own thoughts, put to paper. Black Desert Online – Dedicated PvP Server Announced, Oktoberfest Ramping Up

Kakao Games and Pearl Abyss have announced that a dedicated PvP server will be coming soon with new rules that “negate the karma loss players normally receive after killing another player”. The goal is to bring open-world PvP to the forefront on this server. Feedback was provided by the Russian community after a recent test period. The PvP server will be live once this week’s maintenance is complete.

World of Warships – Wargaming & Team Rubicon Partner for Hurricane Relief

Wargaming has partnered with Team Rubicon to offer World of Warships players a number of special bundles. 100% of proceeds from the sales of these bundles (ranging in price from $5 to $25) will be sent to Team Rubicon, a charity operation with members transitioning from military service and offering them an opportunity to assist those affected by domestic and international natural disasters.

Overwatch – Junkertown Behind the Scenes & 2 More League Cities Added

Overwatch fans got a pair of nifty updates overnight. First, a new behind-the-scenes video was released about the upcoming Junkertown map. Junkertown takes place Down Under and begins on Roadhog’s farm, wending its way to the Scrapyard. According to devs, Overwatch lore about Omnics and the Australian government as you explore the map. Junkertown is expected to be released on September 19th.
