Turn Injustice 2’s Black Canary into a vortex machine with safe “Canary Drop” mixups

Injustice 2‘s Black Canary is a rushdown heavy character in a nether realm world of powerful zoning. This means that it’s critical for a character like her to make the most of every exchange: That’s where NRS pro MK_REO‘s latest video comes in.

Her “Canary Drop” special move, which is normally unsafe, has an abundance of active frames that you can use to make this safe after you knock some down. This is similar in principle to the tech that allows Green Lantern to pressure on wake-up with his Will Power Wall. These setups allow Black Canary to not only make the move safe, but still force dangerous cross-up mix-ups. Check out MK REO’s video for a detailed breakdown of the setups!

Diablo 3 – No Announcements at Blizzcon but ‘We’re Hard at Work on the Future of Diablo’

The Diablo III team has posted an unusual message on the game’s official forums to let fans and players know that no new announcements with regard to Diablo III will be made at Blizzcon 2017. The game will be on the showfloor and there will be a couple of panels for attendees, but that is the sum total of its presence at the annual show. Before becoming filled with despair, however, the team also let everyone know that “we’re hard at work on the future of Diablo”.

Garireo’s epic comeback at CEOtaku is a throwback to his Evolution 2014 victory

PNS|Garireo is known in the BlazBlue community not just for his excellent Litchi Faye-Ling play, but also for making an epic comeback when battling CY|Dogura in the Evolution 2014 Grand Finals. With a new victory, it seems that he’s proving his “schtick” as a comeback king. Garireo’s triumph at CEOtaku 2017 in BlazBlue: Central Fiction echoes his most famous moment.

Facing the r/Kappa-sponsored Dora_Bang — a fellow Japanese player — Garireo shows an interesting arc. At first, he lost cleanly to the speedy ninja in Winners Finals. Dora dominated with a 3-0 score, overwhelming the Litchi user with mix-up. However, Garireo fought his way from the losers bracket to Grand Finals. Lo and behold, Garireo barely resets the bracket with a clutch victory right around the 20-minute mark.

Garireo spoke to BornFree at Evo recently where he shares his thoughts on a wide variety of topics, including his BlazBlue Chronophantasma battle in 2014.
