Jonyfraze reviews the Marvelous Customs Average Joe DIY arcade stick case
While customizable arcade stick options have been available for a long time in the form of custom builders, ready-made DIY stick cases have become increasingly prevalent on the market, as of late. We recently showcased the FightstickAsia EXC Samurai case review that Jonyfraze had put together, which is currently on offer at Paradise Arcade Shop. Another option has entered the ring — as he now has put up a review for Marvelous Customs’ Average Joe DIY stick.
While you can purchase the stick fully assembled and populated with parts in their CEO product, going the DIY route allows you to mix and match your parts to your preference. In this video, Jonyfraze goes over the features of this acrylic case and how to assemble it. He also notes that despite being acrylic, the case has a good amount of weight to it, allow it to sit firmly in your lap.

Incorporate Lars’s Rage Drive into your rushdown game for Tekken 7
In Tekken 7 tournament play, Rage Drives tend to fall into one of two categories: either as a neutral tool or as a combo extender. This isn’t a hard-and-fast rule, but you’re a lot more likely to see Rage Drives used in the way they are clearly built for. Clear examples of this are Heihachi’s powerful combo-filling stomp, or Xiaoyu’s mix-up low combo starter.
Lars’s Rage Drive sits at an odd place, then. It can only be done from “Silent Entry” stance, so it doesn’t quite have the explosiveness of, say, Paul’s Rage Drive Death Fist. But it also doesn’t wildly increase the combo damage output on Lars’s Juggles, only netting him another 5% or so typically.
This is where JusticeSoulTuna‘s video comes in: here, he examines the strength not of Lars’s damage output from Rage Drive, but the rushdown setups afterwards. On block, Rage Drive puts Lars into his “Dynamic Entry” stance and leaves him at +7 on block — enough to counter-hit freely with DE 2. It also gives him an uninterruptible throw attempt from DE stance, if you think the opponent’s throw-breaking is less than stellar. If the opponent gets hit by DE 2 on normal hit instead of counter-hit, you also have another counter-hit setup for B+4: an underrated safe, high-damage on counter-hit, unparryable mid.
