Capcom Pro Tour EU Regional Finals at Milan Games Week streaming live from Milan, Italy

The Capcom Pro Tour is slowly winding down to its conclusion. This weekend is the Europe Regional Finals at Milan Games Week in Italy. The competition ultimately boils down to eight players: seven from the top of the EU leaderboards, and one from the last chance qualifier on Saturday.

Qualified Players

The Regional Finals is a chance at a guaranteed spot in Capcom Cup. Regardless of performance on the global leaderboard, the winner of each Regional Final will make it to the Capcom Cup Finals. This is an important point for players outside of the Top 30 on the global board.

The competition starts off with the Last Chance Open Qualiifer on Saturday and concludes with the finals proper on Sunday. Some of the players entered into the qualifier include Takamura and CCL. To catch the action live, head to the Capcom Fighters channel on Twitch.

Check out IKevinX’s Dragon Ball FighterZ character concepts for Hit, Beerus, Goku Black and Zamasu

Taking a break from his anime and manga reference videos for the playable cast of Dragon Ball FighterZ, IKevinX has begun creating a series of character concept videos for characters he’d like to see in the game: specifically, Dragon Ball Super‘s Legendary Assassin of Universe 6, Hit; Beerus, the Universe 7 God of Destruction; and the devious pair of Goku Black and Zamasu, who seek to deliver divine justice with the eradication of all mortal beings.

These videos utilize references from both the Dragon Ball Super anime and manga in order to give viewers his personal idea of what these fighters could do if they were to make it into the game, with everything ranging from the intros and victory animations, to the entire moveset of normals, specials and supers. He even has a creative idea in imaging how Goku Black and Zamasu could work as a tandem character — similarly to how Androids 17 and 18 were implemented — that I’d really like to see come to fruition, as it seems like something Arc System Works and Bandai Namco Entertainment could successfully pull off. You can see all three videos below.

What do you think of these character concepts? Would you like to see these four represent Dragon Ball Super in Dragon Ball FighterZ? Are there any other character concept videos you’d like to see from IKevinX? Let us know in the comments.

Dragon Ball FighterZ will be released in February 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam PC, in both standard and CollectorZ Editions. An Open Beta test will be held closer to the game’s release — with pre-orders gaining early access to it, as well as early unlocks for Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku and Vegeta, along with two exclusive online lobby avatars.

ARMS 3.1 patch adds character tweaks and a new playable stage for Versus Mode

ARMS version 3.1 patch is now live on Nintendo Switch. The patch is mostly dedicated to balance, adjusting some of the properties of the existing cast.

One new thing that the patch does bring though is a new stage for versus mode. While the “Sparring Ring” stage technically already existed in the game — it was the stage used during Warm-Up minigame — this is the first time that players can actually chose to fight on the stage.

The “Sparring Ring” can be selected in Versus Mode, and will also be available in Ranked Matches. The stage will feature the song ARMS Official Song (Electro-dance Ver.) as its background music.

Other than this, the patch also addresses some bugs with Hedlock Scramble and 1-on-100 rewards online.

Those interested can check out the complete patch notes below.

ARMS 3.1 patch notes
  • The versus stage Sparring Ring can now be selected.
    • It’s a square stage without gimmicks, used in the Warm-Up minigame.
