Runescape – Coming to Mobile Platforms Everywhere

After announcing Runescape Mobile earlier this year, Jagex have made good on their promise. At Runefest ’17, working demos of both Runescape and Old-School Runescape were available to play, with fans even able to use their existing accounts. We went hands on with these early versions to find out more, and interviewed some of the team behind bringing the veteran MMO to your pocket.

Runescape – Runefest ?17: A Return to Origins

If Runefest ’17 could be summed up in a single theme, it would be about getting back to the roots of the veteran MMO. The annual Runescape fan gathering and convention, held at London’s Battersea Evolution, focused less on major updates and more on features that would grow and improve both games. Whether it’s classic Old-school Runescape, or it’s newer and more glamorous sibling, the conveyer belt of future updates certainly looks packed.

Runescape – RuneScape Mobile Hands On

Runescape is going mobile. Once upon a time a LAN party meant hauling your again rig out the house and onto a new desk, power cables splayed across the floor and more energy drinks than it’s safe to consume. Well that is changing for Runescape fans. Runescape is going mobile. At Runefest 2017, Jagex unveiled their plans for Runescape mobile and gave lucky fans a glimpse at Runescape and Old School Runescape on the Android platform. We got hands on with both games and this is what we thought.
