How to use command kills in Tekken 7 to improve combo execution

A problem a lot of players (particularly new Dragunov players) have when they start playing Tekken 7 is figuring out how to manipulate the “while running” state. Especially now that the “tail spin” mechanic sends opponents so far away, players will frequently find themselves needing to do a non-running attack from the while running state in order to continue their combo.

Using command kills is vital for these situations. With cutcc‘s tutorial, you’ll learn how to simplify and combine your inputs to make previously impossible combos much easier. If you’re unfamiliar with this form of button buffering and play a character that benefits from it, be sure to check it out!

SNK’s Art of Fighting is now available on the Nintendo Switch eShop

Thanks to the ACA NEO GEO line, the Nintendo Switch now seems to be the place to play old school NEO GEO fighting games on the go. Following on the heels of games such as The King of Fighters 2000 and The King of Fighters ’99 comes another classic SNK fighter from the 1990s.

Originally released in arcades back in 1992, Art of Fighting is now available for purchase on the Nintendo Switch eShop. This classic fighter — which sees Kyokugen-ryu Ryo Sakazaki and Robert Garcia fighting their way through South Town’s seediest bars and dojos to rescue the former’s sister Yuri — was one of the first games to introduce a secondary meter system. Performing special attacks in the game would drain a characters “spirit bar.” This meter would need to be manually charged when it ran out. Additionally, both Ryo and Robert had access to a “super death blow,” the Haoh Shoko Ken — while other characters did not, at least not in the original NEO GEO version that this port uses.

Those looking to experience this piece of fighting game history on the Switch can purchase it now from the eShop for $7.99. Take note, however, that as with all ACA NEO GEO releases, this is a straight-up port of the arcade version without many of the bells and whistles we’re used to in home ports today.
