TEKKEN TRAINING: Electric Wind God Vids — Beating Eddy’s Handstand

Electric Wind God Vids is back and we’re picking up where we left off: picking apart Eddy’s stances. Last week we gave an overview of the very annoying Relax stance. Today, we’re covering his Handstand stance: a larger stance that serves as a more transitional state then an all-out mix-up stance.

Despite the lack of a un-seeable power low, though, Handstand can murder you with crushing mids and fast power crushes if you aren’t careful. Learn when the gaps appears off his transitions and Handstand becomes more liability than leverage for Eddy’s mix-up game.

Hypespotting 7 has been postponed for Spring 2018

We all need a break sometimes. After running Hypespotting events back to back for six years, the Versus Scotland team have decided that 2018 is the time to recover and rethink the future of one of Europe’s best majors and regular spot on the Capcom Pro Tour. So, until further notice, Hypespotting 7 has been put on hiatus for 2018.

This is by no means the end of Hypespotting — Versus Scotland are going to use the year off to go back to their roots and nurture the Scottish FGC with regular locals, weeklies and casual events. To go along with the theme of regeneration, Versus Scotland have relaunched their website, making it the place to go if you want up-to-date information about local events.

Expect more news about Hypespotting 7 later on in 2018, and we at Shoryuken wish the team all the best during their break.
