Possible patch notes for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite appear online

With today’s games, many players end up looking towards patches to help them deal with issues (instead of learning to deal with them). Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is no different, with more than a few players wondering if how Capcom will be balancing the game.

Now, a list of rumored balance changes for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite has surfaced online. The list, which can be seen here, focuses on a few things: notable Dante, Dormammu, and the Reality Stone. Specifically, it hints at changes to Dante’s “Hammer” move, adjustments to Dormammu, and nerfs to Reality Stone’s Infinity Surge. This is on top of some general changes, such as a 20% reduction in Infinity Storm time and a removal of pre-fight tagging.

That said, more than a few folks have pointed out that the list does seem somewhat questionable. Some have have stated that the list feels more like someone’s wishlist, questioning the fact that the character-specific changes only affect a few top tier characters. Others have noted how utterly destructive the changes can be: the nerfs to Reality Stone can flat out make it useless for high level play, and the removal of pre-fight tagging can negatively affect some match-ups while taking out tech that allows players to avoid getting immediately opened up at the start of a fight.

That said, the list is unconfirmed for now. So stay locked on to Shoryuken for more on this story as it develops.

Final Fantasy XIV – Naoki Yoshida on Bringing Ivalice to Life, Rival Wings & Ultimate Progression

On top of the usual helpings of story content, boss battles and balance changes, the developers took the unprecedented step of bringing in guest creators for a new raid series, Return to Ivalice, and introduced Ultimate, a hard-as-nails difficulty mode that makes Savage look like Cape Westwind.

Destiny 2 – PC Review – The Perfect Home for Your Guardian

You may be thinking that because I asked whether or not Destiny 2 was a mistake that I don’t like the game. On the contrary, amid the sheer chaos that is this year’s game release schedule, Destiny 2 is one of a few I keep coming back to time and again. Finally on the PC, Bungie’s Sci-Fantasy MMO-like shooter is something special. Not without its faults, Destiny 2 feels right at home on the PC and the future’s looking bright. This is our Destiny 2 PC review.

– Darwin Project – Dev Diary #1 The Manhunt

Our writer Vance Musgrave is presenting an overview of the players experience. The game has two defining features: Manhunt and Survival. Track the position of your enemies, by using environmental clues they left behind and be creative with your use of crafted traps to take the upperhand. The biting cold of the Northern Canadian Rockies will also slowly freeze you should you be careless.
