En Masse Entertainment has announced that the Closers closed beta test has officially kicked off. Players taking part will be enticed to keep participating thanks to a month’s worth of in-game events and the knowledge that there are no plans for a character wipe at the conclusion of CBT.
Albion Online – Arena Masters Tournament Puts You in the Voting Booth
The Albion Online team will be on hand the next couple of weeks streaming the first-ever Arena Masters Tournament. Events will be streamed live from Tuesday – Friday this week and from Tuesday, November 14th to Friday, November 17th next week. Viewers will get a chance to vote for which matches should be broadcast on the AlbionTV website.
Guild Wars 2 – ‘Mount Adoption Licenses’ Now for Sale for Gems, Community Ignites at RNG Nature
Yesterday, ArenaNet announced that new “Mount Adoption Licenses” are now available at the Guild Wars 2 Black Lion Trading Company. For 400 Gems, players receive “an available animal at random”. Every box is said to contain a unique breed, though players are unable to purchase specific versions. Rather the “drop” from the purchase is randomized. This latter fact has set the community on fire with the GW2 Reddit thread on the subject beating out previous “top threads” from the past.

World of Warcraft – 55,600 LEGO Bricks Later, Theramore Comes (Back) to Life
A LEGO fan of World of Warcraft has recreated Theramore by using over fifty-five thousand bricks to do so. It is a faithful rendition of the city that is scaled nearly identical to the in-game version. You may remember Theramore as the home of Jaina Proudmoore as well as the tipping point in the war between Horde and Alliance, ultimately won by the Horde when Garrosh dropped a mana bomb on the city to utterly destroy it.

During G-Star 2017, Nexon will be showcasing nine different games over the November 16-19th convention. Five games are heading for PC including FIFA Online 4, Need for Speed Edge, Battlerite and Titanfall Online as well as Tencents MMO, Moonlight Blade.

The good folks at Steparu have posted a fairly extensive first-look preview of ChangYou’s Project Z, a forthcoming “medieval style” MMORPG that is currently in closed beta testing in China. When, or if, it is slated for release in the West remains unknown. However, a few nuggets of information and a LOT of videos are included in the preview.
Wizard101 – Empyrea Part One Launches Today
After the Wizard101 maintenance period ends this morning, the game will be updated with the Empyrea Part One content expansion. The first part will see a level cap increase to 125, a maximum gold allowance increase to 500k (at 121+), new gear styles, the Beastman Fight Club Gauntlet, new wandering bosses and, finally, new badges including Beast Basher, Dwarf Dasher and more.
