Catch up with Kamen Rider: Climax Fighters with this new trailer

With just about a month until its release, Bandai Namco has dropped the second trailer for their upcoming arena fighter, Kamen Rider: Climax Fighters.

This new trailer goes over the game’s mechanics, features, and online modes. Additionally, it gives us a closer look at some of the riders joining the fight this December. Specifically, the trailer gives us our first looks at Kamen Rider Accel, Kamen Rider Birth, Kamen Rider Meteor, Kamen Rider Beast, Kamen Rider Baron, Kamen Rider Mach, Kamen Rider Specter, and Kamen Rider Brave.

Kamen Rider: Climax Fighters hits PlayStation 4 in Japan and Asia — with English subtitles — on December 7.

Exploring Fighting Games episode 6 focuses on how to assert pressure during a match

Exploring Fighting Games is back after a bit of a break. Picking up what the last episode started, number six covers creating powerful pressure to keep the opponent blocking and eventually hit. That part mostly explained how to extend a pressure string, and this new one delves deeper.

The video calls parts of pressure “chain phases,” which are divided into early, middle, and late sections. Those correspond to light, medium, and heavy attacks. Lighter attacks present more cancelling options, but those are generally short-ranged. However, if your character has longer reach, you could end pressure at a distance where the opponent can’t hit you back, depending on their toolset. Mix in “pseudo extenders” and baits to overcome the opponent’s defenses.

Injustice 2 ELEAGUE Group B Results

Following an astounding night of action from Group A that saw the elimination of tournament favorite Echo Fox|Sonic Fox, the eight competitors of Group B stepped up to the plate to deliver another unpredictable night of action. More fan-favorites fell, proving that the competitive field for Injustice 2 is wide open at the moment, and that this is truly anyone’s game. The matches were guaranteed to be intense, as only two players could advance to the Finals against Evo 2017 Champion Allegiance|Dragon and Last Chance Qualifier runner-up Circa|ForeverKing.

“Vampire Hunter Championship 2017” brings you 3 hours of high level for Vampire Hunter: Darkstalker’s Revenge

Japan’s Mikado Arcade is home of some of the finest classic arcade action in the world. While we’ve been heavily covering the Super Street Fighter Carnival 2017 tournament series, that’s not the only big event Mikado is running right now:

“Vampire Hunter Championship 2017” is Mikado’s annual tournament for Vampire Hunter: Darkstalkers’ Revenge. Among Darkstalkers fans, Vampire Hunter is considered the slower paced, more methodical entry in the Darkstalkers series, though don’t let that fool you. If rush-down is your thing, don’t worry — there’s plenty of air-dashing, frame trapping, cross up insanity for you to cheer through. And while tiers are considered less compact in Vampire Hunter overall, there’s still some great low tier representation in this tournament from Victor and Felicia.
