– A Surprise, To Be Sure, But a Welcome One

EA has come out with two separate announcements detailing its revised progression plans for SWBF2, making many of these changes in direct response to all the criticism. To borrow a line from Senator Palpatine, the changes were, “A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.” I expected there to be some changes, but I didn’t expect EA to walk things back as much as it has.

Warframe – Digital Extremes is Working on a F2P MMO as Revealed in Investor Report

Warframe developer Digital Extremes was the subject of at least part of a recent LeYou investor report. Eagle eyed users at Reset Era noticed an interesting tidbit in the Interim Report 2017: “Digital Extremes is also committed to new product development…”A free-to-play action MMO is planned to commence Closed Alpha testing in 2017 and is expected to be released online in 2018”.

Heroes of the Storm – Overwatch’s Hanzo & WoW’s Alexstrasza Are Headed to the Nexus

The Chinese Heroes of the Storm page inadvertently (we think…) leaked the next two characters heading into Heroes of the Storm. The page has since been taken back to the Halloween theme, but not before the image of Overwatch’s Hanzo and World of Warcraft’s Alexstraza was captured by eagle-eyed fans. This confirms speculation from September that the pair would be joining the Nexus.

Wild West Online – UPDATE: Early Access Alpha Coming on November 15th

UPDATE: The team has announced that Early Access Alpha will begin on November 15th. Original article: Players who have purchased Pioneer and Collector’s Editions of the game will be receiving a special bonus in Wild West Online to reflect their importance to the dev team. The addition of Treasury Notes (the in-game premium currency) to those two packages is to compensate for delays in getting Early Access started.
