Michael Bisping and Jorge Masvidal may not be fighting each other at UFC 217, but that didn’t stop them from trading obscenities on Wednesday.

Rush your foes down with this hard-to-block reset for Morrigan and Dante in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite
Despite having a mostly unchanged moveset, Morrigan is one of those characters who plays very differently coming into Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. Unlike how she was in the previous game, Morrigan in MvC:I focuses much more on rushing her opponent down, and using her partner to set up mix-ups and situations that most players will have difficulty defending against.
One of the players who’s been championing this new playstyle is Cosmic Gorgon’s Juan Miguel Champo, who’s been putting out impressive performances with this team of Dante and Morrigan (with the Time Stone), including a 5th place finish at South East Asia Major 2017. In addition to doing well in tournaments, Champo has been sharing tips and tricks for the team on social media, the latest of which is this new reset concept involving the use of Dante’s Million Carats.
The reset, which you can see below, uses the freeze from Million Carats to allow Dante to set up a sequence ending in his overhead “Hammer” special, while at the same time tagging in Morrigan to set up a low. With the speed of her low, it’s quite difficult for the defending player to block both attacks, even with the game’s pushblock auto guard.

– Cougar Puri TKL: A Minimalist?s Dream Come True
Most “gaming” keyboards come with designs that some marketing team somewhere concluded that crazy alien designs are what all gamers want. While I will admit some of them look cool, I personally feel that the alien theme is tired, overdone, and (hopefully) dying. I was lucky enough to spend some time with the tenkeyless (TKL) Cougar Puri which combines its wonderful mechanical keys with a traditional form factor and plain white backlights.

Marvel Heroes Omega – What’s Up with Gazillion? Nobody Seems to Know, But Rumors Swirl
Marvel Heroes Omega and Gazillion Entertainment have been pretty quiet lately. So quiet, in fact, that players and fans are beginning to speculate what might be going on behind the scenes, none of it good either. According to Massively, an October 20th update has yet to be deployed, a Halloween event, usually a big ticket in-game happening, didn’t fire off and at least one employee has written that he’s moving on.
Tension Pulse resumes with Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 exhibition matches feat. ShinSin vs. LGOD X, and Mystic vs. B.Z.B
After a break, we’re back with a new episode of Tension Pulse! This is a series of livestreamed and commentated matches in Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2. Not only this is a chance to see some high-quality gameplay live, but the series highlights players that we might not normally see frequently on the tournament scene.
There’s a lot of brand-new faces this time around. We’re going to see B.Z.B’s Chipp Zanuff fight Mystic’s Baiken, as well as ShinSin’s Answer versus LGOD X’s Johnny. It will be quite the exhibition featuring the two newest REV 2 characters.
B.Z.B

On the match: “I think it’ll be a good fight. Baiken is rarely played, so it’s good to give the community a chance to see what this match-up looks like.”
On his opponent: “I played Mystic before at CEOtaku in casuals. He was good at adapting quickly and took the last couple sets from me. I’ll need to be ready to adapt on the fly and have some answers to the general match-up.”
On his growth since the last time: “My movement has changed a lot. I also try to ‘commit’ to my options before I wake-up. It’s made my options (backdash, Blitz, Dragon Punch, etc.) much more consistent.”
Mystic

On the match: “I’m just really happy that I got the chance to go ahead and showcase my Baiken in the exhibition.”
On his opponent: “I actually had a long set with him at CEOtaku earlier this year, and I’m sure he wants to run it back.”
On his style: “I would say a mix of the other two Baiken players, LTL and Vinnie. I’m not as aggressive as LTL but not as passive as Vinnie.”
ShinSin

On the match: “The Tension Pulse exhibitions have been a great service to the US Guilty Gear community, showcasing our top talent and others that may not get a chance to shine. I think what they’re doing with it has been outstanding and its growth has gone on to prove that.”
On his opponent: “LGOD X: He’s one of the stronger players from Michigan that you don’t see too often. He’s jumped around the character select screen but it appears that he’s sticking with Johnny now, which is a good choice. I feel he’s a solid player and is headed in the right direction. We haven’t played an extended set, just met up a few times in the bracket. Now that I’ve switched to Answer, a lot has to change with how I approach him than how I used to with Chipp.”
On his own playstyle: “My playstyle has always focused on movement; that won’t change with Answer. Moving around waiting for the right time to slip in and pounce on the opponent, while using movement defensively to create that opportunity. Johnny’s normals will make this rather difficult but I feel I can find a way to make it work out.”
LGOD X

Catch this upcoming episode of Tension Pulse live on Silva_hime’s Twitch channel. The first set, between ShinSin and LGOD X, will begin at 8:00 PM ET/7:00 PM CT/5:00 PM PT on November 1st. Following that, we’ll see B.Z.B face Mystic in a FT7, similarly. trippinhobbit and Havoc_Noah are going to commentate.
