Knowing the situation on block versus any character is important, but this is especially true versus one that is constantly looking to sneak in a command grab on you when you least expect it. That is, of course, one of the game plans of Street Fighter V‘s Laura.
So if you’re a Ryu player and you want to avoid becoming Laura’s next grapplin’ bud, pdcsky‘s latest tutorial video is going to be perfect for you. In it they cover not only what you can punish each button with on block, but also the most optimal way for you to counter-hit Laura if she overextends herself on moves that are minus, but safe.

Cosplay is becoming more and more of a common sight at FGC events, with more and more intrepid fans and artists showing off their takes on our favorite fighting game characters. At last weekend’s Red Bull Battle Grounds, cosplayer Romanova made a splash with her amazing tribute to one of Street Fighter’s newest characters: the Neo-Shadaloo Commander, Ed.
In the video above, Red Bull introduces us to Romanova and her love of cosplay, and her advice for fans that want to try their own hand at cosplay.

GM Sniper II and Aegis Gundam coming to Gundam Versus in Japan
It looks like two more DLC mobile suits are coming to Gundam Versus in Japan. This December, the Japanese version of the game will gain the RGM-79SP GM Sniper II and the GAT-X303 Aegis Gundam.
The RGM-79SP GM Sniper II hails from various works in the franchises original Universal Century timeline. This specific example in Gundam Versus is decked out in White Dingo Team colors from the Dreamcast game Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story 0079: Rise From The Ashes. Piloting it is White Dingo Team commander, Master Pierce Rayer.
The GAT-X303 Aegis Gundam on the other hand comes from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. This prototype suit is the commander unit of the Alliance’s “G Project” which resulted in the creation of most of the Gundams in that series. It’s piloted by none other than Gundam SEED deuteragonist Athrun Zala.
Both of these mobile suits will be available as DLC in Japan on December 12. No word yet on when they’ll hit game in the West. In the meantime, here are some screenshots of both suits:

Tech teachers Beefy Smash Doods have put together a thorough examination of newly discovered Super Smash Bros. for Wii U tech for Nintendo’s iconic Donkey Kong, currently dubbed the “Slap Cancel.”
Donkey Kong’s down-special can be canceled instantly without any lag. Originally discovered by Proctavia_SSB, KDK, and DKWill, this cancel has two variations dependent upon the surface/stage combination it’s attempted on. Its 3-frame window for proper input is tight and it’s situational at best, but faking Slap into a stock-stealing grab could be a game-winning trick for you, if you’re willing to learn it!
