The King of Fighters XIV will be gaining a new combatant and stage soon; obviously SNK is still committed to supporting the KOFXIV community with new content! Meanwhile the KOFXIV battles around the world rage on; check out the footage below!

– Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition Announced by Beamdog

Beamdog has pulled a fast one with its announcement of Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition. Starting tomorrow, players can begin to pre-order the game and enjoy the possibility of being chosen to enter into a Head Start program that allows players to test out “an early version of the game, import modules, and prepare persistent world servers”.

SNK’s The Last Blade 2 is now available on Steam

Another NEO GEO classic is now available for PC gamers.

Fans of SNK’s sword-swinging classic fighters — and prefer to play their fighters on PC — will want to take notice that The Last Blade 2 is now available on Steam. This “perfect port” also supports online multiplayer and Steam Acheivments. It’s available to download now for $11.49 USD — currently on sale for 20% off, too.

– Clicker Heroes 2 & Its Refreshing Attitude About F2P – Goes B2P for Ethical Reasons

Playsaurus has a new blog post to let fans of Clicker Heroes 2 know that the free to play model of the first game is not coming back for the second. The F2P microtransaction model in the 2015 game worked so well that developers are concerned that the system might be “feed[ing] and addiction”. As a result, Clicker Heroes 2 will be buy to play for $30 and will carry a year-long refund option as well.

As the collective anime fighting game community hypes themselves up over BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle, it’s always good to remember that you can reference (most) of these characters in their original series. Ragna Daimond‘s examination of Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st]‘s Gordeau is particularly timely, then, considering the scythe-wielders recent reveal announcement for ArcSys’ cross-over fighter.

Under Night In-Birth‘s giant normals and Gordeau’s combination of command grabs and slides will certainly make him stand out in BBxTB. While the west is still waiting patiently for UNIST release date, there’s still plenty of footage you can check out from the many UNIST events run in Japan, if you don’t have a Japanese PSN account to try UNIST on.
