Misango and his masks join the fray as the newest fighter for ARMS
Nintendo’s unique stretchy-armed fighter/Dhalsim simulator ARMS has just received a new update. Version 4.0 of the game adds a new fighter, named Misango. The Mesoamerican-themed Misango comes with a unique mechanic: his special mask ability allows him to switch masks mid-battle to seemingly grant him specific buffs.
Along with a new fighter, comes a new stage; Misango’s stage is the appropriately-themed Temple Grounds.
Additionally, the update also adds three new Arms, including what seems to be one based on inflicting a poison status on an opponent.

Ultimate Gohan, Gotenks, and Kid Buu confirmed for Dragon Ball FighterZ
Three new Dragon Ball Z characters have been revealed for Dragon Ball FighterZ. The latest issue of V-Jump magazine has confirmed that adult or Ultimate Gohan, Gotenks, and Kid Buu will be joining Bandai Namco’s and Arc System Works’ 2D tag team fighter.
These three should be familiar to fans of the series, with them all playing important parts during the final story arc in Dragon Ball Z. In addition to these, the issue also gave some details regarding their appearances in the game.
Gotenks gets his “Charging Ultra Buu Buu Volleyball” as his Level 3 Super, as well as his famous Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack. In the source material, he performs this volleyball attack with Piccolo but in game, he performs it with one of his team members. Kid Buu uses his Planet Burst for his Level 3 Super and he also has access to Piccolo’s stretchy arm grapple. Finally, in addition to being able to use an Ultimate Kamehameha, Ultimate Gohan is able to unlock his Mystic form — based on the amount of Super bars he has stocked up. The more Super bars he uses for this transformation, the more powerful it is. It’s unknown at this time if this power-up is temporary like Freeza’s Golden form, or whether his Mystic form lasts for the whole battle once activated.
In addition to these three characters, the issue also confirmed that Dragon Ball FighterZ will have an in-game shop where players can spend Zeni they earn in battle for colors and titles, as well as an arcade mode. The latter will apparently feature multiple routes that change depending on whether the player wins or loses their fights. The image of arcade mode has turned a few heads, as two of the icons on the map look like Beerus and the Universe 6 assassin, Hit. The Hit icon could possibly be Ginyu — as both of them have domed purple heads — but the other icon is a dead-ringer for Universe 7’s God of Destruction.
