Wizard101 – Empyrea Shenanigans

You know, I usually try to blow through Test Realm. Experiencing the entire world, figuring out new boss cheats, and providing KingsIsle with useful feedback were my primary motivators for doing so. However, I did things a bit different this time around. When my friend, TheArtOfWarlord, asked me to stream the new world with her … I thought it would be fun. And it was!

Wild West Online – WWO Shoots Into Early Access, Pardner

Wild West Online is ready to ride into Early Access beginning today. Players will be able to explore a “large game map” that is packed with a number of environments and tons of NPCs. In addition, players can take part in server-wide public PvP events, take on quests from NPCs and work to mine gold. As characters progress, they will unlock new abilities and be able to access new, better gear. In time, players will be able to take part in public events including Artifact Hunt and Golden Road.

Lineage 2 Revolution – Can an MMO Work on a Phone?

Mobile game company Netmarble is bringing over a new game from Korea. They are releasing Lineage II: Revolution to the global market on Novermber 15th. That’s right the MMO Lineage is coming out brand new in a mobile game format. They had a big showing at Twitchcon (check out my interview I had while there). But can an MMO on a phone work? Very few have been successful in the West. This is our Lineage II: Revolution review.

World of Warcraft – Official Classic Server Forums Aflame in Class Balance Debate

The World of Warcraft classic server forums are on fire with several threads being closed due to toxicity. The flames erupted after one of the WoW community team members opened a discussion about the possibility that classes would perhaps undergo some type of balance tweaking for the upcoming classic version of the game. Community manager Ythisens stated his personal opinion that the discussion of class balance in WoW classic was a worthy discussion.
