Elder Scrolls Online – New Life Festival Spreads Good Holiday Cheer

The Elder Scrolls Online community will be able to spend some happy times spreading good holiday cheer when the New Life Festival launches in game on Thursday, December 14th. It is scheduled to run through Tuesday, January 2nd and offers players a chance to acquire a sweet, sweet XP boost. In addition, nine festive daily quests will be offered up to earn Festival Gift Boxes that can contain any number of cool rewards. There are new achievements to unlock and much more.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds – PUBG’s Brendan Greene Wants ‘Other Devs to Put Their Own Spin on the Genre’

Speaking to the BBC Radio 1 Game Show, PlayerUnknown’s Battleground’s creator Brendan Greene laments at the number of “copycat” titles that are flooding the games space these days. He calls for other developers to “put their own spin on the genre” and that “if they’re just copycats, then the genre doesn’t grow and people get bored”.

ARK: Survival Evolved – Aberration Launches with New Underground Biome

Studio Wildcard has sent word that ARK: Survival Evolved will be updated today with the Aberration content expansion. Players will have a new underground biome to explore that is packed with new flora and fauna. There are new creatures to tame including a “chameleon like” Rock Drake. There are 50+ new items to craft and new challenges to defeat.
